Overview
EziJobs Job Tracker (“the extension”) helps users save and track job applications from supported job sites. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.
Information the Extension Collects
The extension collects only the data necessary to provide job tracking functionality. This includes:
- Job title
- Company name
- Job posting URL
- Job application status (e.g., Saved, Applied)
- Authentication session information (access tokens)
This data is collected only when the user explicitly chooses to save a job.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used solely to:
- Save job entries to the user’s EziJobs account
- Sync job data for later viewing and management in the EziJobs mobile app and web platform
- Maintain user authentication state
The extension does not use data for advertising or tracking.
Data Storage & Processing
- EziJobs uses third party infrastructure provider to securely store and process user data.
- All data access requests are authenticated using user-credentials.
- Data is associated only with the authenticated user.
Data Sharing
- User data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- Data is transmitted only to EziJobs’ backend infrastructure (Supabase).
User Control & Data Deletion
Users may:
- Log out at any time from the extension
- Request deletion of their stored data by contacting support
Logging out clears authentication tokens stored by the extension.
Security
- Uses secure HTTPS connections
- Performs all API requests from a background service worker
- Restricts job data capture to supported job sites only
